The International Baccalaureate® (IB) Diploma Programme (DP) is for students aged 16-19. It is taught in more than 5,000 schools in over 150 different countries worldwide. It was created to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who are motivated to succeed.

What is the IBDP?
The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) was established in 1968 to provide students with a balanced education, facilitate geographic and cultural mobility and to promote international understanding. The programme aims to develop students who have excellent breadth and depth of knowledge – students who flourish physically, intellectually, emotionally and ethically.

What are the entry requirements?
You are likely to need at least 5 GCSEs at Grade 4 or above, including English Language and maths. For your three Higher Level subjects you should have GCSEs at Grade 6 or above in those subjects or a related one.
